Trailer found thanks to a good samaritan

Sunday morning, August 9th our team captain was contacted by a good samaritan named Josh.  He told Ann that our trailer might be in the area of North Nellis Blvd and gave us a location of where he had seen the trailer abandoned.  Our team mates Tara & Mike drove over to meet Josh and sure enough it was our team's trailer!  The Las Vegas Metro Police were called and they released the trailer to Tara & Mike who then towed it back to it's original home at Susan's house.  While we are thrilled to have the trailer back and it is in considerably good shape other than missing the wiring harness, rear lights and tow chains; all of the contents were not inside the trailer.  We are still missing all of our boxes and equipment.  We would love to see our boxes recovered too but are extremely grateful to Josh who contacted us about the trailer.  Thank you Josh!
Thank You

We have had a large out pouring of support from our local community and also other Flyball teams since our trailer and equipment was stolen.  We have many people to thank for their generosity, kindness and concern.  Our team has been working hard to replace our equipment but we could not have done it without everyone who pitched in to help us.

First we would like to thank Katy & Lonnie Kaylor of the Touch N Go Racing Flyball Team for loaning us boxes to practice with when we deseparately needed them.  Second we owe a big thank you to Channel 13 Action News and News 3 of Las Vegas for airing our story which helped bring in a lot of community support.   We would like to thank the Atomic Dogs Flyball Team who donated a few buckets of tennis balls.  There are many other individual folks who deserve recognition as well for their donations, help at the yard sale, and overall support of our team.  To all of you, we can not thank you enough.  Your support means a lot to all of us on Fly'N Aces.

GOOD NEWS:  We were able to purchase a new trailer with the funds we raised at our yard sale!  Our team member Keith Brown put a lot of time and effort into finding our team a trailer that would fit our needs and our budget.  Thanks Keith!  Another big thank you goes out to Leo of Atomic Dogs.  He works at Discount Tires and he told his manager about our story.  We got a great deal on new tires and a spare tire for the new trailer!

Fundraiser A Huge Success

The FNA Yard Sale Fundraiser was a huge success for our team.  We are grateful to all of the people who donated to our team and to those who stopped by and supported us.  We are on our way to rebuilding our team's equipment!
Stay tuned for us to host another yard sale some time in September.   It will be at the same location:  4470 W. Warm Springs Rd.  A big thanks to our team mates Erik Hegland and Jennifer Johnston for hosting the yard sale at their home.

FNA's Trailer & Equipment Stolen

Fly'N Aces team trailer was stolen overnight Thursday, June 25th into early Friday morning.  The trailer was taken right out of one of our teammates driveways.  It housed all of our teams equipment and we do mean everything!  Our team is without any equipment to practice and this puts a halt to our intentions of going to Nationals in September.  Our team is going to hold a fundraiser on Saturday, July 18th.  We hope to raise enough money to replace all of our equipment we have accumulated over the years.  We are asking for your help.  We are taking donations of gently used items to sell at the yard sale or just stop by and see what we have for sale!  If you have items you would like to donate to our cause,  please contact Ann at 702-658-0398 or Jennifer at 702-914-7922.
